Why detectors and satellites work together
A detector answers “is there conductive metal under this coil?” A satellite scan answers “which patches of this field look unusual from above?” Combining them saves fuel and empty hours on dead ground.

- Export or note pin coordinates / walk plan.
- Detect systematically inside the suggested search radius.
- Treat every pin as a hypothesis until the coil (or GPR) confirms it.
What Metal/Mineral pins mean
SWIR-based Metal/Mineral layers flag spectral alteration candidates — not “gold found.” They are priority zones for detector checks. Structure anomalies (radar / thermal / vegetation agreement) may point to walls, fills, or compaction — still field-verified.
Do not buy VeldScan without a detector
