Satellite scan for real field decisions

VeldScan is a satellite scan app for Android: draw a plot, run the scan, and get ranked ground-anomaly candidates from cooperating remote-sensing layers — before you walk the field.

What a satellite scan actually measures

Orbit sensors do not X-ray the soil. A useful satellite scan looks for surface signatures that buried structures or soil change can leave: vegetation stress, moisture contrast, radar roughness, thermal difference, and micro-relief.

Who uses satellite scanning with VeldScan

How to run a scan

  1. Install VeldScan from Google Play and sign in.
  2. Draw a zone (about 10×10 m up to 120×120 m).
  3. Spend one credit and wait while the server pulls and fuses the layers (usually 1–2 minutes).
  4. Review pins and reports, then verify on site with your own instruments.

Honest limits

Results are candidate anomalies — indicators ranked by how layers agree. They are not legal permission, not a guarantee, and not a substitute for a metal detector or GPR.
